1. Copyright & Image Use

All images taken by Under the Skin Portraits are protected by copyright law. We retain full copyright ownership of all photographs worldwide.

Clients are granted a personal-use license only, meaning you may use your images for personal promotion (e.g. Spotlight, casting profiles, social media). You are not permitted to sell, license, or use your images for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

We may feature selected images in our online portfolio, on social media, or in promotional materials unless you request otherwise in writing before or at your session.

While we retain the copyright, we will never sell your images to third parties. If you notice your photos being used by anyone else without permission, please notify us immediately so we can take appropriate action to protect both your rights and ours.

2. Booking, Deposit & Payment

Once you request a booking, your chosen date and time will be held for up to 24 hours. To secure your session, a non-refundable deposit of half of your package’s rate is required within this time.

• If we do not receive your deposit within 24 hours, your slot may be offered to another client.

• Deposits are deducted from the total session cost.

• Final balances are due 48 hours before your session, or the Friday before if on the following Monday.

3. Concession Rates

We offer reduced rates for eligible clients. To book a concession package, you must provide valid proof of eligibility before or at the session. Acceptable forms of proof include:

• A valid, in-date student ID or Unidays membership

• Graduated no more than three months before your session

• Valid photo ID confirming you're over 50

• Live Universal Credit account access (shown at session start)

• Confirmation that you're a new actor with no professional credits, and this is your first headshot session

If proof is not provided, we reserve the right to:

• Withhold delivery of your photos until proof is received, or

• Request the difference in payment for the standard package

We trust our clients to be honest. If we discover deliberate misuse of our concession rates, we reserve the right to refuse future bookings.

4. Rescheduling & Cancellations

You may reschedule your session free of charge up to 72 hours in advance.

• Rescheduling within 72 hours of your session will incur a £50 rescheduling fee, payable before your next appointment.

• If you fail to attend your session without notice, your booking will be cancelled and any payments made will not be transferred to a future session.

5. Image Delivery

Final edited images will be delivered via a secure digital gallery within 21 working days of your session, unless otherwise agreed.

We do not provide unedited or RAW image files.

6. Conduct & Safety

We have a zero-tolerance policy for abuse of any kind. This includes but is not limited to verbal aggression, discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour.

• If any form of abuse occurs, the session will end immediately, your images will not be released, and you will be permanently banned from booking with Under the Skin Portraits.

7. Photographer Cancellations / Emergencies

In the rare event that we need to cancel or reschedule due to illness, equipment failure, or unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer either:

• A rescheduled session, or

• A full refund of any payments made (including your deposit)

8. Agreement
